We were honored to have the following: -Christine Chambers, North Carolina State -Von Macklin, University of Louisville -Valerie Owens-Combs, University of Louisville(first scholarship) -*Patsy "Cookie" Blackney, Clemson University Cookie passed away in March of 2006, she was represented by her sister Bobbi Jean and her brother Jake -Deborah Stroman, University of Virginia We were also blessed with an appearance by ESPN basketball analyst, Carolyn Peck, with a heartfelt message for the group of women. Sit back, relax, maybe grab some tissue, because these pioneers are about to bless you with stories of their time playing women's college basketball. There are stories of of their coaches, their teammates, the overall experience, the love of their respective universities and what they hope listeners takeaway from their conversations, on this panel and what they hope to see in the future.
